In your proposal application, you will be assessed upon the:

    • What program area of focus you’d like to explore

    • A clear and brief description of the project

    • The aim, output, and outcome of your project

  • Feasibility of project to meet outcomes within grant timeline and resources

    • Calculate your estimated amount of hours worked and resource costs within the grant timeline (June 11 - November 24)

    • Ensure total budget is within the grant amount (up to $10,000 for groups, up to $5,000 for individuals)

  • Sustainability of project outcomes beyond the grant period

    • Where your project outputs will be delivered (platform, faculty, unit)

    • Who will manage the outputs and how they will be maintained beyond the project timeline

    • How this project may be potentially embedded into UTS processes

  • Partnership process and outcomes within the project

    • Confirm all staff and student partner's involvement to the project by signing the proposal application on the last page

    • Ensure you have discussed the project including your roles and responsibilities

    • Staff partner is expected to take responsibility for promoting and/or implementing the outcomes of the project beyond the project close (e.g. apply the learnings in your subject and present your learnings with the student partner in relevant forums)

We are looking for proposals that aim to create positive change in academic engagement and partnership. If chosen, the kickoff workshop will allow students to go into greater detail of their project.

Here is an example on how you can fill out your proposal application.
